1.04.2026 - Just had to double check today on my files and looks like they're at normal state. Looks like we're getting some nice spring with much warmer weather and that's good. Although, forecast stating that we might get the similar heat on summer. So anyway, it looks like Gamedate is interesting way to announce session for old games (and some modern ones too) and I even tried out myself. Design looks pleasant but some things needs to be tinkered. I feel like those guys who designed it needs a bit more customization like icons for buttons. Although, text is way too tiny and I could barely read it. I tried it myself to host and see if I can get people to try Quake 3's mod called "Threewave", but nope. Nobody came in despite I warned earlier and planned to do on saturday. Nobody came in. Such a disaster, but I don't get it. Probably just got unlucky that I couldn't get anyone and maybe I'll give it a try next time.
13.04.2026 - 5 days ago, I went to mall center to see what other areas offer in my city. Until I discovered one place called "house of parrots". And this was incredible and I actually felt talons of those birds. Especially the cockatoo, which it's talons were a bit hurtful but endurable. Honestly, it was great and even one of those rascals nimbled my bag while I visited. There were like lovebirds with different colors, budgies and sun conures. I expected to see cockatiels but nope. Apperantly the owners of that place said that somebody bought it. Oh well, but I got some pics of parrots sitting on my head and shoulders. I even wanted one of those birds hop in and they didn't wanted to hop on me. I even got pics of me parrots sitting on me. Enjoyable experience. And I knew that raising those birds requires money and patience even when I saw them on YouTube. I would like to get one of those parrots, but I don't have money and I would need to live alone so I could try to raise one.
21.04.2026 - Nothing unsual I encountered on my real life side. Although, I'm replaying the original Arma 0 aka Operation Flashpoint Cold War Crisis. I remember when I was a kid and tried it by myself it was just unusual to play it. Plus I didn't understood what to do, but fortunately it has mission editor. I remember I spent most of the time just fiddling around weapons and vehicle in this OG sandbox millsim game from 2001. I think I remember I played for the first time mission "Steal the car"? But, despite it's from 2001 it was my actual introduction to the Arma franchise itself. And can't believe the OG Arma is 25 years old! I replayed the campaign of it "Cold War Crisis" from fan remake in Arma 3. My biggest gripe is the freaking micromanaging bots. It's ass and tedious to control them. Especially on the Arma 3. Oh if you're curious, in 2011. OFP CWC was renamed as "Arma Cold War Assault", due to dispute with Codemasters and IP of "Operation Flashpoint". It's not exactly a "remaster", it's just Bohemia Interactive (those Czech devs who own Arma franchise) made a last update for this 2001 game. Must be a nice anniversary update back then. Anyway, I'm completing the campaign on Arma zero. Apperantly the AI has a hard time to detect if you just keep lying down and heavily minimze where you are. That's probably the only way to counter AI and figure out where the hell they shot you. It's also frustrating, that you can ONLY save once and in some checkpoints you can continue trying to complete missions. There's even a cheat code where you can save game, regardless if you did it once. And frankly, it helped me a lot in the campaign to avoid dying. So yeah, just trying to replay the OG Arma.
