Switch to"Updates"
15.11.2025 - I hope the XMPP won't be included in the banned list. This is like the only enjoyable messenger I'm using and trying to experience it more further. I hate RKN so much for doing more harm, than good.  So right now I've installed some plenty of stuff on my portable 2 TB SSD and it should last longer once cheburnet will be in action. And I tried VLC to see if I can watch the video or movie on that program. Quite interesting and I will use it more often for watching movies in this program. I'm honestly feeling worried about how will people in Russia like me will survive on the cheburnet. One scenario I can imagine we would get like talons or cards to "activate" internet in some various size for GBs from government. I can imagine how annoyance will be. But stocking up in emergency with necessary files is faster. Basically "cyber" survival kit incase of isolation. Also, this means we'll probably going to visit those retro clubs as the gathering point. I'm going to keep up with downloading and installing various important files to keep and trade if my mates wants stuff to use.
19.11.2025 - I found web directory that it has list of various stuff like food, computers, blogs, entertainment. And I found one forum specifically it's dedicated for nostalgia (presumably from mid 90s to early 2000s) and the member list is tiny. I think I remember barely in my childhood that Yandex also had web directory before they moved as average search engine. I even used it a lot, because it searched a lot of niche stuff. And it even had a pleasant welcoming search engine that it had everything you'll need. Oh even had anniversary theme for the Doom in 2013 as celebration for the game's release. Man, I loved it when Yandex had that, until they removed it on several years later. It looks like some of the web directories are working and I'll probably find niche stuff more than on the modern search engines. Plus, I wanted to try Ecosia and I read that people condemned Ecosia for implementing AI. What's with all those tech companies using AI? I don't even want to read what AI says, because it's too unreliable and I'm used to find only specifically from actual people what they ask or looking for. Seems like web directories like "Wildwild.directory" will be my "search" engine to find variety. Not interested in those dumbass "AI" thoughts and it's corrupts and brainwashes people with that crap. All those implementation with neuro programs things corrupts the internet and it'll be hard to decentralize from those companies and corporations when they infest with ads. Seems like it's not a "Dead internet theory", more of a "Dead internet fact".
27.11.2025 - Alright, I've got about 50% installed important files to my 2 TB SSD and I'm thinking to finish my stock up quest at the end of the year. It's impressive that thanks to my hoarding, I think I'm ready to survive. Would be even more impressive if I'll somehow struck 10 TB portable HDD (I don't know if they're still reliable) that could be like my huge library prepared and I would like supply my own peeps to share and let them be known what I could give. Still, my SSD will be soon ready and I'm thinking to keep about 500 GB or 250 GB as emergency, so I don't have to see how slowly shows up, when I'm connecting it to my PC. Just read the news that RAM sticks skyrocketted as hell because of the AI. And this is really frustrating that AI is still going and I'm hoping it'll die so that bubble is popped. Doubt it'll even get popped.
1.12.2025 - Welp. It's december now and last month of the 2025. I'm planning in this month finish up my stocking up and hopefully it will be enough for me to brace for it. Man, it's getting so frustrating to see how insane my russian government doing. I will NOT use messenger MAX, because how horrible is security and even from the government. It's also worrying to see that even our people are enshifted to use this spyware app. Seriously, can our government just stop forcing us to use their crap? Is this why they are trying to isolate us from the world web for banning western services? Well spent taxes for trying to use crappy local services and it's just great way to piss off our people. I'm not going to install that damn messenger and they can piss off for their "voluntary" request to install this app. I'm hoping that jabber won't be included in the banned list. If it does, then I'll try with the IRC. Right back to the primitive era of messengers.
11.12.2025 - Phew. That was a bit long journey to download and gather some important files to install them on my SSD. I think that should be enough for it and I'll probably will be ready to brace for the cheburnet. Come to think of it, it seems like I predicted that SSDs prices will skyrocket. Not the part about the cheburnet, but more of a AI influence that companies are buying. Holy crap, that's quite horrible way to be left out with no way to upgrade or build your PC. I just my portable SSDs will come in handy incase if I'll lose my main personal data I'm using, so that I couldn't feel left out. Also, I've delivered some hefty amount of orders. I should continue taking this intiative while new year is coming soon. Also, I noticed that a lot of major mainstream services are installing their AI "features" to their websites like YouTube. And with raising more junk videos created in AI is going to mark very likely death of the internet era. I hope people gathered legendary classic memes to their disks or uploaded in the Internet Archive. Which that should be focused to preserve important videos as part of the culture and history of the internet.
