11.12.2025 -
Phew. That was a bit long journey to
download and gather some important files to install them on my SSD. I
think that should be enough for it and I'll probably will be ready to
brace for the cheburnet. Come to think of it, it seems like I predicted
that SSDs prices will skyrocket. Not the part about the cheburnet, but
more of a AI influence that companies are buying. Holy crap, that's
quite horrible way to be left out with no way to upgrade or build your
PC. I just my portable SSDs will come in handy incase if I'll lose my
main personal data I'm using, so that I couldn't feel left out. Also,
I've delivered some hefty amount of orders. I should continue taking
this intiative while new year is coming soon. Also, I noticed that a lot
of major mainstream services are installing their AI "features" to their
websites like YouTube. And with raising more junk videos created in AI
is going to mark very likely death of the internet era. I hope people
gathered legendary classic memes to their disks or uploaded in the
Internet Archive. Which that should be focused to preserve important
videos as part of the culture and history of the internet. 14.12.2025 - Went yesterday to the LAN party and this is quite incredible. Clan leader planned to meet up in the gaming club, but some of the members got sick and he invited me to his flat to see the match. I was quite interested to see and only ended up playing Quake Live. Expected to see only Quake 3 Arena, but seems like Quake Live was the choice. Oh well, fine by me. While I was in the clan leader's flat, I was a mere spectator and just sat and observed people playing Quake. Even though they were noobs and played badly, it's still was enjoyable to watch. Overall, I was satisfied to watch and offered to play single match to one of those participants. Man, that guy shot me a through railgun was annoyance multiple positions, like he spent a lot of time playing Instagib. Still, was fun to try. I feel like I experienced the definitive LAN party in my life besides just going to the retro gaming clubs that emulates how they were in the late 90s to early 2000s. While I'm on the subject, I'm very likely done installing various important files to my SSD and I must double-check them incase if they are damaged or corrupted so I didn't lose them. Plus I found the goldmine containing various demos and fragmovies for Quake 3 in the early 2000s. I guess I'm set for life that I found the huge mine of those demos. Wish someone would participate in my LAN party too just to play for fun. God, it's still good to see to experience those old CRT monitors and vibe of 2000s games. 22.12.2025 - I must say that it's been a long journey for me to construct this webpage and I'm feeling quite happy to see how well it goes, but at the same time. I'm once again suffering from creativity crisis and I don't have any ideas what else to add but only leaving me to write down my own thoughts. I'm glad that I was able to get those files installed on my SSDs. Guess, this is probably I got distracted and lost in my creativity crisis because of hoarding. But at least had some practice with clanmates in the sunday which is great. I hope my clanmate will fight me in the same skill in the future and I'm looking forward. I'm probably planning to host a fun party and I hope this will be used as last resort to celebrate new year and last days of 2025. Man, I'll probably will need to buy another disk to contain more files. 29.12.2025 - Welp. The 2025 is nearly done and I'm going to say that this year, was absolutely rough. A lot of things have happened like passed away several well known people and livehood is getting way too unbearble to survive. And much even worser scenario on my country Russia, is that we'll eventually will be isolated from the world wide web in the 1st of march. While I have like 2 more months to prepare, until the isolation is in effect. Overall, I've gathered main and important files I wanted, hopefully they're sufficient in case cheburnet happened. Guess I'll probably will experience how 90s were in my country huh? I kinda feel like I somewhat predicted and knew there's something wrong will happen in the future. This is just ridiculous for my government forcing to use government owned services and they're poorly moderated. Especially with the "Messenger MAX" with how it's memed a lot and even intimidated to say the reason for "not using it". Saw a lot stories some schoolboys and schoolgirls threated to be expelled for not using that spyware messenger. And yet, people are sick of those shenanigans. I'm surprised that nobody from the west even tried to examine this messenger, while a lot of my people condenmed government's decision. I'm hoping that my archive will last long and I hope it's worth stocking up after I did it, even during the summer. I even read that some of my friends and acquaintances also stocked up incase of cheburnet. Wonder if I can even get time to construct my own end of the line type PC and get spare parts incase if one of the components fails. Time will tell and we'll see how long our people will survive in the new year. 3.01.2026 - Welp, I'm thinking about some plans in the future on how to survive. My childhood friend who's visited me to celebrate new year and studying on uni asked if I can download all lectures for him so he could rewatch them. And I was like, sure, but I'll need him to get external disks to preserve. I'm thinking either SSD or HDD with acceptable price to buy and gift him. I still need to find reliable manufacturer that can last longer. Plus, I should find cheapest ones and good quality external ones, crossing my fingers it should work. Plus, I'm gonna temporarily lay off for editting my website and I'll need to explore various old sites if I want to reinforce my motivation and perhaps see if I could add in my list to study more. If I'll do that, then chances are will motivate me to find ways to make it more great to look. |
