I'm Daniel Gorbulin. And I'm 23 years old russian dude , got fascinated by the old
technology. Not only that, but also was fascinated by the website from Neocities,
which it had variety to experience from passionate with aesthetics of 2000s and
90s. I must admit I too got inspired from one of these sites and decided to
construct it myself. I tried to find simple ways on how to create webpage, but
it only shows as on lessons how to do it. And here I thought it's futile that
there's no way to build your webpage without just doing the hard way and study
HTML and CSS. Fortunately, I found and there is way how to construct if you
don't have any knowledge of HTML and CSS. Microsoft Frontpage, the thing that
it's user friendly and even better, that it's compatible to Neocities as well
modern browsers like Firefox, Google Chrome, Yandex Browser, Microsoft Edge and
Opera GX. At first glance, it was confusing when trying. But the more I used it
the easier it became. Oh and I'm creating planets on one program called "MojoWorld".
That program is created to gorgeous planets. You can make it as background
for your PC or for phones. It reminds me a lot from Bejeweled 2. Man, those
planets are gorgeous. Those programs from early 2000s really, really are
enjoyable and passionable, even when you don't know some basic. Honestly,
it's exciting to try despite that they're obsolete and outdated. The "R.A.F.S"
banner you see on my page is actually my clan. I'm the leader of it and
stands for "Rippers and Fraggers squad". Just formed with my friends from
Discord group DM. And created
-
that emblem to
my lads. My clan only consists just my friends and nothing else. And no, you
can't join my clan.
So, I want to make my site act as semi-archive and treat as merely passion to
construct and try to add anything with Frontpage. And at the same time recreate
the era of end of 90s and early 2000s vibes with it.
I'm interested in Quake 3 Arena as it's my first ever childhood game and
introduction to Quake franchise itself. And so, I'm still playing it after 18
years (I was 5 years old back then). Sad to see, that the game and genre of AFPS
is dead in modern days. Although, I'm planning to resurrect and use some VLAN
softwares to attempt to emulate LAN party from the past. And hopefully play with
somebody else. Radmin VPN does work better and much more easier, than in Hamachi.
Even though, consider Hamachi used to be server hoster in the past to play with
friends, but with limited users to join was a bit nuisance. Radmin VPN's feature
is a lot better and easier to use. Unlimited users to join, can join public
gaming servers and adding expectations on specific games to not completely
disable firewall. Neat.
While I'm discussing what's my passion. There is a ICQ alternative that I've
encountered is the Jabber. Jabber is suppose to be alternative and the better
version of ICQ. Jabber's feature states it's much better and it has open
communication protocol, decentralization, secure and flexible. Seems to me a
good recipe to re-experience the old era of instant messengers. That's my
basically task to resurrect the old era of internet and I really wish to
re-experience these in age. So, that's it. That's just my personal goal to
experience and my hobby what I do.
