Quake 3 Arena fast custom stuff installation.
Quick step-by-step guide to install skins or mods for game.
1. Find
the skin, sounds or maps whatever you want to use.
2. Download it and if it's
".zip" or
".rar"
file. Open it with 7zip or Winrar (if you don't have them, download at least
7zip.)
3. Make sure you check if it has
".pk3"
file.
4. Take the ".pk3"
and drop it in "baseq3".
(As for downloading mods).
1. Take the mod whatever you downloaded, usually shows as file. For example
"osp".
2. Put the mod in Quake 3 Arena. NOT in the "baseq3". It should
show on the "MODS" the installed mod.
When you done installing addons and mods. Launch the game and see if it worked. Hopefully it should work well.
